I've been working on this project for a few weeks and figured some of you guys here might be interested. It all started with some ideas that got thrown around on the RobotechX forums not to long ago and I guess I'm the furthest along so far. I really just wanted to make the CVR-3 costume for my son to wear at Wonder Con next year but looks like I might make the Halloween deadline.

Ok, seems little by little I press forward with my ideas, so here is my latest! The UES Gloval Nimitz style aircraft carrier! As part of my story idea for the time between Macross and Masters. The carrier is on scale with a USS Nimitz class carrier. Names after Henry Gloval, to honor his memories. Air craft consist of the Logan series veritech fighter and a compliment of VHT's. Due to the smaller size of the Logan's and VHT's, the carrier should be able to carry more then 85 total...

I've been wanting to type this story in since I recorded the rough draft as a barely intelligible WAV file, about 15 years ago. Eventually, I wrote it out by hand, and expanded it further (as well as making it a bit more coherent - I can ramble a bit when I'm talking, even more than in my typing).

It doesn't really have chapters, just a few breaks where viewpoints and flashbacks change, but can be divided into two parts - the break occurring somewhere between episodes 27...

Ok, I took a little detour from Southern Cross for a moment. For my Southern Cross idea/project I needed some battlepods so I modeled some. Ok I cheated, I modeled one, and then changed the weapons. I still need to do some detail work on the pod's body, like put a hatch on it, but I'm far enough in the process I figured I'd share a pic.
