Anyone know where I can find a Track Listing for Macross OST Vol III: Miss DJ?

I managed to find DYRL, Volume IV & Volume V on the Macross Compendium (though the names of many of the tracks were butchered to hell, being too-literal retranslations of the Japanese, instead of the English names that other sources have said were official, and used on compilation albums over the years).

But, I can't find a track listing for Miss DJ. Anyone got an idea where to look? I don't want to dig out 15 year old anime fan club flyers where over 7 issues, they...

Macross Frontier: The Movie

Just got the word from Bandai Channel (tho' I doubt this is a scoop per se): a feature film version of Macross Frontier will appear in theaters in Japan starting November 21st. Don't know if it will be a new story or a highlights-of-the-series recap.

Macross Frontier OSTs

Has anyone heard anything about there being potential domestic release of the Macross Frontier OSTs?

Way back in the mid-to-late '90s, we saw Victor release the Macross II soundtracks in the states, as well as most of the Macross Plus discs. Is there any chance of the same thing happening with Frontier? Or am I left with paying the $50+ for the import discs?

I'm getting tired of youtubing whenever I want to hear the vocal...

I've been thinking a lot about SC and why it's so unpopular. A lot of negative comments pertain to the opinion that the Hover Tank was not a very cool looking mecha.

Alternately, many people remember the AJACS and I've heard countless fans say they thought it was a very cool mecha. No one ever puts it down like the HT.

I personally like the HT, but I do think the AJACS is way cooler. The Hover Tank just doesnt scream "cool" like a robot...

What has Egan and the rest of the Macross Compendium been smoking????

While I have never really been a fan of wikis, sometimes the subject matter can lend itself to one.

I was interested in seeing the Macross Compendium go Wiki, as it would speed up the filling in of areas Egan didn't have the time for.

Does anyone else see that having a Wiki about a bunch of TV SERIES (and OAVs & Movies), where one cannot use EPISODE DIALOGUE to cite as a source is so beyond counter-intuitive and counter-productive to...

Macross Frontier Series Conclusion (spoilers)

Well, the series is over - maybe something will actually resolve the relationships of the characters in the movie - provided the movie isn't a badly warped retelling of the series ala the Macross Plus movie edition.

First of all, I wonder how many of Galaxy's people actually were in on the scheme - nearly all of the defensive forces of the Battle Galaxy were AI drones (Ghosts), and the only manned squadron we see were cyborgs that Grace apparently could control at will. Did...

So, what is this "Macross Chronicle" thing I keep seeing advertised?

Normally, on Veoh, subs (often 4 or 5 within a 2-4 hour period) will show up 24-36 hours after airing in Japan. It's now past 72 hours, and no sub yet.

Has the person doing the scripts that most seem to be working from taken a vacation... Or could it be something more sinister (such as being Basara-phobic)?

After the rollercoaster of the last two weeks, what do you think Frontier will be like?

I held off as long as I could on posting this....

"Fastest Delivery" about made me ill. It was the Frontier equivalent of "The Fleet of the Strongest Women", which itself was an episode so campy that it didn't even get aired as part of Macross 7!

It was nice seeing some of the homages to original Macross - especially since the Zentraedi all seemed to be clones from the same genetic seeds as Breetai's fleet (including an obvious Kravshera as a...

That the colorists for the last part of Orguss were already working on Southern Cross???

There are at least two scenes in Episode 26, fully animated, that have Leigh (traditional spelling) / Riia (imaginAsian spelling) colored this way.

I can't find any information on these, and I'm trying to sort some music files I have, that lost their track number information, as well as part of their file names, album names and song titles, when being transitioned from one music software program to another.

Anyone got some place I can look them up, or that they can paste the info here? Mysteriously, CDDB appears to have been gutted of all but very recent music by its owners.

The ones in question are all original Macross...
