So success or failure is based solely on its "sellin' out"? Being in the "bargain bin" is a designator of success? Heck, I saw "The Day After Tomorrow" in the bargain bin and that was a summer blockbuster when released.

The last Robotech comic sold just over 8200 copies. 55k down to 8k is a very significant decline, and IIRC the initial sales numbers were comparable to Transformer sales at the time and showed there was a potential readership out there. Lowell/alphavt and I were tracking the numbers as the comic were released and even got pretty good at calculating the next comic's decline lol. We actually did some pretty indepth comparisons to other 80's based/similar genre comics at the time....

seeing Shadow Chronicles in the 5$ Dumpbin at Walmart, means it wasnt a sell-out. DC/Wildstorm had published Numbers for the Declining Comics sales...
I Imagine Shadow chronicles Made Money, its nearly inmpossible to lose money when dealing with this small of an opperation. Just getting the Units on to Walmarts shelves mean Walmart bought 50-100 Thousand Copies.
RTsurfer in the Past has Found Sales Records for the Robotech/Wildstorm Comics... where the comics started at 55,000+...

and unfortunatly, its why the new RPg is going to fail. Everything Tommy puts his hands on fails... the Comics? Failed. Shadow chronicles? Failed (hard). new RPG? time will tell.
but if it dosent do well, he'll Blame Palladium. Like he got Tom Batemen canned for the Failuer of Shadow Chronicels, Like he Blamed WildStorm for the Failed Comics... its Never Tommy's Fault.

Anyone have any actual numbers to provide to show the success or...

ANyway, why is Palaldium printing what Tommy says is right? Because they have no other choice. All books need to get approved by Tommy, if he doesn't like it, it doesn't get printed.

and Brook/Rabid is right, Defic Enema/NMI seams go out of his way to over moderate certian posters, while allowing others to flamebait and attack freely.

He does seem to go out of his way it seems, of course it is him allowing your own style of flaimbaiting and the like that I was pointing out. It seems everytime you, and yours, start getting taken to task someone slips and locks the thread stopping it.

I've been reading over at the Palladiumbooks forums about this Royal treatment Palladium is giving the "Masters Era" source book. I'm worried that some if not all of the statistical errors from the Old version of the era book will remain. Jason Marker(aka Gidieon) is the Author, and his Views on robotech kinda tow the Line of "What even Lord Tommy says" and I've heard some of TY's Views on the ASC era or the Show.
