Over the last couple days, I've typed most of the next chapter (Which has been pretty much rewritten from scratch, given how I handled the Neutron-S missile incident a bit different than in my original treatment).

Part of what's having to be handled is something near to civil war between factions in orbit, between those loyal to Earth, and those that still obey the orders of the Plenepotentiary Council back on Tyrol - an organization that was ORIGIALLY intended just to be...

Will be looking forward to part 18. Been waiting for that part for a long time, because it was the introduction to the crossover part of the story, which I love reading, expessily with Robotech in it. Hope you start on it soon so it will be out soon. Will be waiting for it on pins and needles.

BTW, note that she referred to needing two of the others to lend their meager power to aid her and the Regis, and two others to serve as anchors - but asked FIVE people to join in. This isn't an error (thought I'd point this out before one of you noticed in a reply).

She's taking the fifth person along for the first couple steps, to act as a witness to what occurs on the arrival in Omphalos, and to relay that information on to others. Of course, she never told that...

And, I complete Part 17.

Can't really give an ETA for Part 18, the last part of the Fanfic, other than I will TRY to get it done this month.

It's something that is effectively all-new (not episode based), dealing with the Reflex Point clean-up, Karen's eventual destination, and the search for the SDF-3.

I'm gonna repost the Book 5 side story, now that the events in the fanfic have finally caught up with it.

Just a quick update:

I've got Chapters 7 & 8 typed, but I'm holding off on them, until I finish chapter 9.

That last chapter is currently only three and a half handwritten pages, but needs a serious rewrite, which I should attempt tonight.

And, for the epigraphs of the last three chapters, I got 1 quote from a early 20th century Theosophist (the type of wacko that Mckinney always liked quoting, and probably featured prominently in Lazlo Zand's...

Just read the last chapter you posted. Again, very good job. You just get better and better. And loved how you ended it at the end, "But would it be a dark finale, or a symphony of light?" Name of the last 2 episodes, right? Great way to write them into the story the way you did. Well anyways, I hope you will be able to write up the finnal episods written up soon.

29 handwritten pages to go over 4 chapters. I'm not sure how long it will take me to do them.

Just read it, and very nicely done with the write up. And ya, I show how Karen was acting. I feel a little sorry for everyone, in that Karen is just the first, and all the rest of the Seconds will act just like her. So they had better get used to it. Poor Scott, first encounter with a true Second. I wander what his wife would say if she ever found out, though knowing Karen, she would most likely ask Marie if she would like to join in the fun. I would have just loved to see their faces...

As a side note, if anyone's read the Book Three intro, you'll note I reference an Alan Parsons Project album, and how at one time the book, all 4 parts of it, and most of the epigraphs (the little quotes at the top of each chapter) drew from that album's song titles and lyrics. I had never managed to find a CD of it, and I wore out the cassette of it.

Well, thanks to the Pepsi Points promotion, I downloaded the 7 songs of the album's 9 total, that I didn't...
