I didn't mean it as a dig - people hijack threads all the time, and as a Mod on other forums (including the Stratics MMO forums) I've never heard of anyone considering someone saying a thread had been hijacked as a dig- only a statement of "well, that went off into left field because 'x' posted "y'..." - unless someone hijacked a thread to post porn, links to trojans, etc.

Basara the action taken wasn't for making the new thread; it was for doing so and still inserting personal digs while doing it. The point of having people start a new thread to focus on a specific of this one was to get away from the direction the this thread has taken, and one that so many claim to dislike. Creating the new thread while taking shots at me was unwarranted and invites continuing this thread in that one.

Now, you've offered to try and get a chat going later...

BTW, Cav, I TRIED pasting over the material into a new post - there's something about Yuku that keeps people (me, at least) from using CTRL-C to copy. The only way to bring the Pics and the like from this thread was to copy this thread into Hardcore, MERGE it into another one I created, then delete out all the truly contentious parts. I WAS going to finish editing the rest of the stuff out today from that fragment of a copy, as I ended up crashing out shortly after the deletions I did...

The first mention of Brook specifically was in the 5th reply (that's #6), though Jeff referred to him in lower case in the 3rd reply, in a manner that ONLY someone that knew that alt of his existed on the Palladium Forums would even think was a reference to a specific person.

How about we start 2 new threads. One for Cavscout and Brook to have it out and another for any further discussion on SC mecha sizes/power armor?

This is really just a discussion about SC fandom, not about mecha sizes or taking jabs at Brook. Even I'm guilty of both and for that I'm sorry as it led to the derailment of this thread. This is the only place on the net right now discussing SC fandom and I would hate to see it go down in flames.
