I don't think calling them Variable Geometry (like on the B-1B, F-111, F-14, etc) is entirely correct as it looks like either:
-that section of wing can "morph" using advanced materials (ala real Morphing Wing projects)
-rotate 180deg (similiar to a Tilt Rotor/Wing, only more extreme)
Based on these four shots, it appears that the Specter/Sylphid has some form of variable position wings (above) or do we have a running animation error here?
If it wasn't an error, why the Forward Swept Wing-like position for take-off and not combat? FSW's are supposed to increase agility. Thoughts?
