Such was my reply to Deific NMI's asinine 'should everything that had an iota of appearance' bullsh#t assertion. All I had asked was why the YVF-4 and VF 'Orguss' armour would not be appearing in the RPG. After all, the rules are supposed to be a toolset of GMs to use as they see fit in their games. How they run their games at home is not subject to 'canon' debates and the like.In regards to the highlighted portion, so should everything that had any iota of appearance on the show be in the RPG? You want a book 500+pages?
Since you decided to strawman my questions instead of taking them seriously, I'll refrain from answering until such time as you decide to actually not engage in fallacious debating. I would have thought my question honestly deserved an answer instead of derision.
This is especially true if you look at Tommy Yune's ridiculous TO&E for the REF as expressed in the new RPGs: only VF-1Rs for Veritechs with few VFA-6 Alpha's until 2031 (no Logans or Spartas Hovertanks either 'since those are ASC mecha'). That means the REF has no Strike Capability vis-a-vis Orbit-to-Ground operations (VF-4 "Fury's" and VA-5 Condor's both being able to load internal munitions) since the non-transformable fighters like the SF-4 Liberte, SFA-5 Bat and SF-6F Vulture all have external hardpoints (though the Vulture does look like it might have a centerline fuselage weapon's bay). Since the VF-1R is apparently the main Veritech until 2031, that roundly blows Tommy's claim out of the water that the VF-4 wasn't included 'due to rights issues'.
