I've only just recently gotten the spare cash together to order an alpha (6-z Red), and assuming I am suitably impressed, I plan to get a corresponding
beta at some point in the near future.

Got my Toynami VFA-6Z yesterday. I have mixed feelings. On the pluses, it looks as good as I had hoped, and the feel is what i expected.
My main disappointments come from the Sensor pod, which has no where to go in fighter mode. Then the shoulder missile door came looking like a chunk got knocked out of it somehow. Then there is the head and cockpit. The head is loose in all modes, and the wing tips connection to the base of the cockpit is haphazard at best. Still, I am very happy with it overall. And I'm pretty certain I will get a Beta at some point. It's going to depend when I get some spare cash flow. |

Ok, that's pretty damn tempting, especially since every review agrees the Beta has superb engineering...I gotta wait a paycheck or two though. I spent
entirely too much over the holidays.
Sigh, still, I dream of the day we get a cheaper all-plastic release of these figures. To me, diecast is just not worth it for a figure we all actually want to take down and transform often. A Hover Tank would be so cool! My only request, that is can transform into all three modes, unlike the matchbox one! Add the Logan to that list, but I'm
not sure if they can do the Ajac, I don't know if they can adapt the design well enought to still look like the Ajac, mmmmm.
