You know when Steve acts petty by banning certain people its honestly kind of baffling since looking back, he's been extremely cool every time I saw him in person. From those Robotech parties to seeing him at Comic-con and AX, he's always seemed mellow and relaxed. Not that I've ever gone out drinking with the guy or talked to him for more than 15 minutes, but that just how it seems.

More than likely its defending his brother. Tommy did the same thing a fews back when that Kliqonator guy was criticizing Steve's web design talents. Suddenly the thread was deleted and Tommy posted up a "whoops, accidentally deleted this thread while trying to modify another." He later admitted to deleting it intentionally.

But from what I was saying - banning members for things people say on other site has always seemed downright petty and when you meet Steve in person he doens't seem like that at all. Tommy on the other hand...

But hey, it's not a big deal if I don't get reinstated in Robotech.com - its that the current mood in Harmony Gold's office right now regarding the AnimeExpo event is that I'm the brains behind it because I said it in one thread.

The other impression I feel they have is that me and the Pie Thrower were probably going like... "Hey man, do this for the Robotech community, and for me!" It's not like that. As I said before, its as silly as me saying I hate George Lucas and I want to pelt rotten eggs at him for his sucky cartoons being developed in Singapore, and some loon actually doing it! (Not that the Pie Thrower is a loon in this case)

Agh!! That's the issue I see in Steve Yun - based on the way he locked threads like the donations for novels, and calling Paris Hilton a bimbo (yes, I saw that obscure Robotech.com thread) - the man is impulsive and fairly paranoid.

And to compare Steve to Tommy, I have to give that Tommy deserves props for character, he thinks things through and decides the best course of action (as best evidence by that pie thing and the way with dealing with hardcore fans). If Tommy has one strength, its PR. I don't get that vibe from Steve at all.

So... Where can I contact Tommy? Does he have like a blog, or something?

Huh? So Steve's the cool guy and Tommy's the impulsive one?! Wait, now I'm confused. Are you sure?

You see that is where the problem is. The greatest percent of the suporters( not all of them...) have met Steve or Tommy live...( cons. parties...). And form their opinions based on that( cool guys), thus not really caring about what are they doing on their jobs....

But unlike the "southern california party" the rest of the world has to judge upon them solely based on their actions regarding Robotech...

Hence for us they are horrible webmasters...

Well I have met both Tommy and Steve in person on a number of occasions. And like I said, Steve seems like a real cool guy in person.

I was banned from posting on RT.com for a short amount of time (long story, but partially my fault) and after sending Tommy a message on myspace, where he said "I'll forward the message on." nothing happened.

I ended up emailing the mod that locked the thread where the issue that got me banned arose from, and after a few emails was reinstated.

Now I foresee a problem there because the mod that locked my thread and gave the go ahead to Steve for my banishment is well... my enemy. If you haven't already read this whole thread, this "McHenry" character was even taunting me that I was primarily responsible for the incident at AnimeExpo 2k7. Imagine that.

The best idea would be to email Steve himself that what I said was something in jest. If Steve is too paranoid too accept that, then I've done all I can. The only reason I want to get back to Robotech.com nowadays anyway is to use the Search Forum feature and join the Hardcore Robotechnology discussion.
