I have a better idea- why don't we take this thread, delete all the Macross 7 material out of it, and just make it a Frontier thread. After all, I'll never convince you you're wrong, and you'll never convince me you're right.
I do think, though, that perhaps a better way of arguing a point is to actually see what you are arguing against, instead of going by hearsay or seeing only a non-representational fraction of something. After all, my first exposure to Robotech WAS the one with Rick in a coma (but I didn't know what it was). Imagine if I HAD known it was Robotech, and used it and "Sandstorm" (Rand's hallucenation in the sandstorm) as the basis for judging the entire series.....
